Directions to Joanna Furnace – HayCreek.Org

Historic Joanna Furnace is located in Berks County, Pennsylvania along Route 10 about 2.5 miles north of exit 22 (Morgantown) of the Pennsylvania Turnpike. Fall Festival parking is one mile south on Route 10 from the actual historic site. Access to the historic site on non-festival days can be made from Furnace Rd. The site is easy to find from the following locations:

From The Lehigh Valley:

Take route 222 to Reading, 422 east to I-176 south. At the Green Hills exit go south on route 10. The festival grounds will be just past Furnace Rd. on your left. Festival parking is about 1.5 miles south of the historic site on route 10. Access the historic site from Furnace Rd.

From Philadelphia:

Take the Pennsylvania Turnpike west to exit 298 Morgantown (old no. 22). Turn right (north) on route 10. Festival parking is about 1 mile on the left. The historic site is about another 1.5 miles on your right. Access the historic site from Furnace Rd.

From Baltimore, York, Lancaster:

Take I83 to York, east on route 30 to Lancaster, route 222 north to Pennsylvania Turnpike interchange exit 286 Reading (old no. 21), east on the turnpike to exit 298 Morgantown (old no. 22). Turn right on route 10 going north. Festival parking will be about 1 mile on your left. The historic site is another 1.5 miles on your right. Access the historic site from Furnace Rd.

From Harrisburg:

Take the Pennsylvania Turnpike east to exit 298 Morgantown (old no. 22). Turn right on to route 10 heading north. The festival parking will be about 1 mile on your left. The historic site is another 1.5 miles on your right. Access the historic site from Furnace Rd.
