The Hay Creek Valley Historical Association is excited to announce that we will be building a new website. As many of you have known our current website was experiencing technical issues this year and was not functioning like it has in the past. However, the organization is now working with a new webmaster to rebuild and make improvements to our website to make it better than ever. Expect to see our new website up and running by mid-summer.

Tuesday, April 9, 7-9 pm - Learn to be a Joanna Furnace Tour Guide
Thursday, April 18 – Soup & Lemon Sponge Pie Sale - On Thursday, April 18th the Hay Creek Volunteers will once again serve up its homemade Chicken Corn Noodle Soup and its newest favorite Spinach Tortellini Soup! Plus, our bakers will have homemade Lemon Sponge Pies to purchase. Here are the details about our upcoming Foodraiser:
- Chicken Corn Noddle Soup - $10 Quart
- Spinach Tortellini Soup - $11 Quart
- Lemon Sponge Pie - $10 (8” pie)
Order deadline is Sunday, April 14th. Pick up is Thursday, April 18th between the hours of 12 noon and 5 pm.
To order please email mzerr@haycreek.org and state your name, order, and phone number in your message. You can also call the Hay Creek office at 610-286-0388 to reserve your soup and pie. Cash or credit card payment will be accepted at pickup. Please note we always welcome walk-ins on the day of the sale too but keep in mind our extra foods are on a first-come first-serve basis.
Tri-County Library Open House (to feature the Morgantown Plank Family and Elverson McCord/Bard Family Collections) – Saturday, April 27th – 1 to 5 pm. FREE ADMISSION TO GENERAL PUBLIC.
June Foodraiser & Evening on the Green musical event with the Hay Creek Gold Band -- Friday, June 7th – times to be determined.
48th annual Hay Creek Festival – September 6 – 8, 2024 – 10 am to 5 pm daily
Hay Creek Apple Festival – October 12 & 13, 2024 – Saturday 7 am to 5 pm and Sunday 7 am to 3 pm.
25th annual Christmas at Joanna – December 6 – 8, 2024 – Friday 5 to 9 pm and Saturday & Sunday 4 to 9 pm.
